Warrior on horseback right, holding reins in his right hand and filleted palm frond in his left; below, ΣΩKANNAΣ. Rev. TAPAΣ Taras astride dolphin to left, holding kantharos in extended right hand and cradling trident in left arm; behind, eagle standing to left with wings spread. HGC 1, 934. HN Italy 1082. SNG ANS 1272. Vlasto 984. Fresh and attractive. Struck from a slightly worn reverse die, otherwise, good extremely fine.
